Troubles displaying messages
When a problem occurs with this machine, the lamp lights in red, a buzzer sounds, and a corresponding
error message is displayed. Follow the table below and solve the problem.

Message Solution
• Fill ink.
• Replace the ink cartridge shown on the display as soon as possible.

• Attach the ink cartridge(s) shown on the display.

• Insert the ink cartridge shown on the display again. If the error is still
displayed after this, call a distributor in your district or our office.
• Check the type of the loaded ink cartridge is correct.
• Check the color shown on the display and the color of the loaded ink
cartridge are the same.
• Check the displayed ink cartridge, and then reinsert it. (Supported from
the firmware ver.1.80)
• Replace the displayed ink cartridge early. (Supported from the firmware
ver.1.80)
• The ink cartridge expiration date has passed. (One month has passed
since the expiration date.)
Replace the displayed ink cartridge early. (Supported from the firmware
ver.1.80)
• The ink has expired. Replace the ink cartridge shown on the display with
a new one.

• Use the MIMAKI ink.
• Wait until the protection process finishes and “ERROR 149” is displayed.
• Check insertion of the cartridge.
• An obstacle was detected. Remove it on the table or press the key
to lower the table.
